Admiral of the Fleet
The Responsibilities of The Admiral of the Fleet (AF)
Responsible for the deployment of all guild members mobile fleet during Orange and Red Status conditions.
You will be required to monitor the actions and fleet development of the Fleet Captains (FC), they are directly under your jurisdiction.
Where there is a vacancy for an FC you will be required to recruit for the position. Internal Affairs (IA) can have an input, Guild Master (GM) or Vice Guild Master (VGM) can directly refuse any FC appointment given sufficient grounds. There is no set limit on the amount of FC's you recruit, however 10 (one per 10 galaxies, E00-E09, E10-E19 etc) should be enough. If more are required, have good reasons.
Along with FC's you will plan and execute raids that have been authorised by GM / VGM.
Your Guild Member Definitions will be:
The position is equal in rank to IA, the AF will deal with issues arising outside the guild, will be able to authorise attacks on bases for 'quick hits' (ie. not farming) after checking the Pact and Treaties page.
As the guild and role continue to develop duties may added or removed as leadership see's fit.

Head Defence Advisor
The Responsibilities of the Head Defence Advisor (HDA)
Arguably one of the most important areas of Astro Empires is the defence of your bases. In this light it is imperative that we have people in the guild who are recognised as knowing what is required to defend a players base, stop them from losing fleet and credits. By doing this they are helping the guild rise in the ranks, not slipping down them.
You will be required to monitor the actions and defensive development of the Defence Advisors (DA), they are directly under your jurisdiction.
Where there is a vacancy for an DA you will be required to recruit for the position. GM, VGM and IA can directly refuse any DA appointment given sufficient grounds. There is no set limit on the amount of DA's you recruit, however 5 (one per 20 galaxies, E00-E19, E20-E39 etc) should be enough. If more are required, have good reasons.
Your DA's will monitor all member bases within their designated galaxies, offering advice if requested. If advice is not requested the DA will bring the base(s) to your attention and as HDA you will give the advice, asked for or not.
Guild members are aware of the penalties of having poor base defence, repeated failure to improve defences will lead you to escalate the problem to IA who will punish the member.
Base defences include defensive fleet.
Your Guild Member Definitions will be:
Be aware that your idea of base defence may differ from other players. As long as base defence is adequate then the member is ok. The HDA / DA position is not intended for you to force your ideas on other members.

Ranks Officer
The Responsibilities of the Ranks Officer (RO)
The Ranks Officer is required to monitor each guild members rank, and as a members Fleet, Technology and Economy reach the specified levels the RO will change the members title to reflect the higher rank.
How you achieve this is up to you, ex-RO's have scanned through the guild lists and picked people out. This method leads to mistakes and people can be missed.
Guild members are able to PM the RO should their rank need to be changed, the RO will check the details and make the necessary changes.
